We work hard to understand the individual design needs of each client. Registered Interior Designers Gerry Cowart and Christina Scharf are passionate about their work and love the satisfaction that comes with a completed home that beautifully reflects the dreams of each client.
Your Interior Designer will be involved from the first stages of architectural planning in order to better assist with all interior finishes, fixture and appliance selections, cabinetry, mantel and molding designs. As analytical problem solvers, we help you examine your options and manage the process with quality control. From purchasing, ordering, and supervising installers, we are dedicated to seeing the project through to a timely completion. From planning spaces to the placement of furniture, we help create exceptional interiors that fit the Architecture.
In addition to interior planning and finish selections we also provide furniture, fabric and window treatments to our clients. Each home is special and should reflect the distinctive taste of its owners. Whether you are using existing furniture or buying all new items, we can help. For new furnishings and accessories we work on a cost plus markup, which represents a 15% discount off of suggested retail price. Shipping and handling is included in this cost plus mark up. We coordinate all purchasing, shipping and tracking, and receiving and installation of purchased goods. We will also coordinate shipping and installation of any existing furniture to your new home.
It is our goal as Architects and Interior Designers to be sensitive to our environment. We pride ourselves on our environmental ethics and practices. "Sustainable Design" is concerned with the ecological, economic, ethical and social aspects of design and its long-term impacts on our life and style of living. We are certified as Leaders in Energy and Environmental Design (LEEDTM Accredited Professionals).
